Jakarta, June 24, 2025 — PT Bisa Ruang Nuswantara (BIRU), a subsidiary of PT BUMA Internasional Grup Tbk (DOID), has partnered with PT Katalis Investama Mandiri (KIM) to establish a new company, PT Biru Edu Praktik (BEP), focused on delivering high-quality workforce training services. This initiative marks a strategic step in advancing DOID Group’s long-term commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.

The establishment of BEP was formalized under Deed No. 35 dated June 23, 2025, notarized by Ungke Mulawanti, S.H., M.Kn., in East Jakarta. BIRU holds a majority stake of 99.7%, while KIM owns 0.3% of the shares. “This new venture allows us to further our mission of making skills training more accessible and relevant to the needs of today’s workforce,” said Kanya Stira Sjahrir, CEO of BIRU. “Through BEP, we aim to empower individuals—especially young people—with practical competencies that can improve their livelihoods and unlock greater economic opportunities.”

In an official disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Dian Paramita, Director of DOID, emphasized the strategic purpose behind the creation of BEP: “The purpose of establishing BEP is to support the company’s long-term strategy in advancing our ESG efforts,” said Dian. “While it does not have a material impact on our operations or financials, it plays a significant role in reinforcing our social innovation agenda.”

BIRU has consistently taken part in expanding access to education and workforce development. Among its initiatives, BIRU supports scholarship programs in collaboration with the Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) Foundation for alumni of the BUMA School program.

This latest step follows a similar move by KIM, which recently established PT Daur Algae Indonesia (DAID) on May 22, 2025, to develop seaweed cultivation and processing operations—further demonstrating DOID’s broader ESG commitment. With the formation of BEP, BIRU strengthens its position as a catalyst for inclusive, skill-based development and reaffirms its role in shaping a sustainable talent ecosystem for Indonesia’s future.
